All my microsoft software have encountered problems

Every time i open a microsoft program such as messenger, internet explorer, microsoft word,media player i get the following message this example os taken from the explorer section.

"Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of soemthing, the information you were working on might be lost.

Please tell Microsoft about this problem.
We have created an error report that you an send to help us improve Internt explorer. We will trat this report as confidential and anonymous.


It gives three options I can either debug, send error report or dont send."

whatever i decide to do leaves me without the chance of using the programs.


My microsoft office is the 2003 version
MY OS is XP
MY messenger is 8.0 Beta
My explorer is Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2

Please help I had to put firefox on here in order to add this thread my comp is pretty much without use right now cuz all my programs are microsoft based.

oh yeah the error signature I got is as follows
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 7.0.5346.5 ModName: entapi.dll
ModVer: 8.0.0.240 Offset: 0000368a
