How do I put something on the All Programs submenu of the Start menu? I know most programmes put themselves there when they are installed. But, despite a great effort to find out how to put something there can I find out? No way! Btw I'm running Windows XP SP2. Example I have a program that is in C:\Program Files but its does not appear in All Programs. I appreciate that I can (and do) access it from C:\Program Files and then double clicking on the *.exe file. However, I would like it on the All Progams sub menu and would just like to know how to do it.

    Hi

Open your Programs Folder find the file you wish to add to the Start Menu > All Programs list and just drag and drop it into the Start Menu ( once grabbed, drag the file over the Start Menu button and it will open, then hover over the All Programs menu and it will open too, then drop the file and it will create a shortcut to the main file )

Another way is to Right Click the Start Button and choose Properties then Choose the Classic Menu layout, click Customize and then Add, browse for the file you wish to add, click OK and follow the prompts. Once finished you can set your menu back to the New XP Menu layout.
