Allow or block (Zone alert baisc)

I've been using this sofrware for some time and I found this handly piece of software is great to have. Just one thing tho, once I fire up the software, there are so many application trying to gain access to the net and I am confused which one should block or allow.

My question : is there any website that I can refer to on this allow and block thing?

when the window pops up click on details and that will take you to a website where they will give you quite a bit of infommation about the program that is trying to get out. it will tell you where it was going and crucial information that will help you determine whether you should let it go out.

rule of thumb if you do not know what the program does then deny it permission. you can always allow it to go out at a later time.

you might have spyware in your computer programs that are legitimate do not need to hide their identity or give you an unkown name. Most of the time it will tell you the name of the program
