Alternative for Windows Media Player??

Hey all, i was wondering if someone could recommend a good alterbative media player to wmp.

The media player should be capable of playing divx movies, avi movies and my mp3s etc.

I have tried VLC which i didn't like, i have got Nero showtime but i find it cumbersome, i have real player but just don't like it because of all its message updates and crap!! I do have winamp but i soley use that to listen to my podcasts.

I don'tmind having to pay for a player but obviously it really will have to justify being paid for.

OH and there is nothing wrong with my wmp, i'm just looking at wat my other choices are.....

 

What are your requirements?

I mean, what does it have to have over these other media players?

WMP can play the files you listed when you've installed the correct codec
VLC will play these files out of the box

Basically, we'll need to know what you don't like about these apps, so we don't recommend one with the same problems!
