Am I being spied on? Level 3 Communications

Hi All,

I was running a Windows update and Zone Alarm notified me that Internet Explorer wanted access to this IP address: 8.255.64.253:53 and au.download.windowsupdate.com.c.footprint was the 'Destination DNS.'

Not all attempts to do a reverse DNS lookup worked but one of them gave me this:

What concerns me about this is that word 'footprint' in the address.
Hopefully this isn't a spy company because I mistakenly said yes before checking it out properly. What do you guys think?
