I am still trying to build my Ryzen 7 Build.

What is holding me back is i previously has Two MSI motherboards DOA.On me which rarely happens. It does not happen to me i get two motherboards that are DOA.The one turned on and every thing. But did not read the cpu no matter what i did.I even put a older AM4 cpu AMD Athlon 200GE.

Still was a no go,And the other MSI board was a open box that i did not pay for a open box it's brackets for the cpu heat sink was missing. And so where all the other parts like IO shield. And the M.2 Pin holder screw.

So i bought two Gigabyte x470 aorus ultra gaming off of amazon. For only 90.57 a pop so i got two just in case one is DOA.

Now the main question here is Do i have to update the bios to the latest driver for this motherboard.???
    Here is link one https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16813145060

Here is link two amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BZ239Z2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I normally pick amazon due to it being cheaper in price and faster shipping. But i use newegg for more information.

Because you where suppose to update the bios for the MSI motherboards. But the update failed as well. The one motherboard powered on,But major issue reading the cpu.Even tried updating the bios and still nothing.

So Lesson learned MSI use to have good motherboards. But no longer.

I have been using this Gigabyte 970A-DS3P motherboard for a couple of years and no issue.Running AMD FX-8350 only at 9 °C temp for that amount of time.

And FYI i by computer parts new....Edit

    Here is Gigabyte's page:

According to the CPU Support section, your Ryzen 7 is supported from BIOS version F2: the very first release, back in March 2018.

I would, as AGESA (AMD Generic Encapsulated Software Architecture) has been updated 8 times in the BIOS. Just be sure to read and follow the upgrade notes.

Capture.PNG Ok i have gotten the new motherboard and first tested it with the AMD 200G CPU and it booted up just fine.

Now it's running with a New video card and a New Ryzen 7 x2700
