Ambient Umbrella

Has anyone ever seen one of these, or used one? I've been thinking about getting one for a while, but don't know too much about them.

Ouch!! That is a VERY steep price for an umbrella......it is a cool item and a good gift for those who have everything!! :-D

 

Although it is a steep price, it's more functional than a normal umbrella, you know. My luck, the storm of the century would be rolling through, and I'd have it stored in a box bottom down anyhow. LOL

I just think it would be a neat thing to show people. It'd probably rip through whatever power it runs on, I doubt it would turn the light off while it was raining or anything, and if it had an off switch type thing, it'd be useless when you didn't remember to turn it back on.
