If I understand it correctly, all AMD 64 cpu's will go to a 929 and their cache will drop from 1gig to 512? All the 929 mobo's will support dual-channel memory? When is this going to happen?

Eventually, the mobo's will switch to PCI EXpress and a BTX design? I forgot butis the AGP slot changing also? When is this going to happen?

I meant 939 and PCI-X is replacing AGP.

PCI Express will replace PCI and AGP. PCI-X is wholly different from PCI Express. PCI-X is a 64-bit standard that is backwards-compatible with PCI.

    Some info on BTX: http://www.anandtech.com/showdoc.html?i=1876

Also consider that DDR2 should be coming within six months to a year or so. I'd expect BTX to be not uncommon by this time next year.
