I was looking up the pricing of the AMD chips last night (dreaming) and saw that the AMD 64 3200 with 1 meg of L2 cache runs at 2.0 gigs while the AMD 64 3200 with 512 L2 cache runs at 2.2 gigs. Why is that, does the cache use that much power?
    Which one would run faster?

They were both AMD64 3200 's The FX chips were farther down the page. The price of the chips were within something like $2.00 of being the same.
