I found a company offering an extremely cheap barebones kit with the CPU listed above. But when I go to the AMD site, it has no information about such a CPU.
Is this a figment of some sales guys imagination?
Is this a figment of my imagination?
    I'm so confused.
Oh, by the way, the site is www.pcprodirect.com if anyone else would like to see.

Knew it was too good to be true.

Checked back during working hours, and found that it is a 2000+, "running at 'Pro 3300A+'", whatever the heck that means.
I am not worried about the lack of RAM, as I will transfer that from my braindead "donor" PC. The crap mainboard is another story, however.
(Sigh) back to my research, I guess.
    Thanks for the response, MasterTech.
