amd barton 3000+ or p4 2.6ghz?

    these are my 2 options.. should i go with:

    asus p4p800 deluxe and pentium 4 2.6 GHz (HTT, 800MHz bus)

    or

    ABIT "KV7" KT600 Chipset and amd barton 3000+

    the amd right? it should overclock nicely.. especially with my thermaltake fan im gonna buy for it

    I would probably not get a Barton anymore. I'd either get an AMD64 or a P4.

    that amd probably wont go beyond 3200+ , i would wait for amd 64bit 939s to come out to the masses; AMD XP cores have reached their limits a couple of months ago IMO.
