Interesting.... I see this as the new standard for gaming!

Faster internet perfomance? I highly doubt that. It really all depends on your ISP.

Integrated PCI-Express...Whoopedoo. I've seen integrated AGP work like crap. As in my very first computer I purchased. Yeah, it was a compaq. ATI Rage Pro integrated agp. Worked like crap compared to a PCI video card (I believe it was a 3dfx card)

Dual cpus maybe, if the programs running look for it. Though, I know of a few tricks, which I won't go explaining here, to have certain processes running on certain cpus, if one has two cpu's. Remember XP home doesn't truly (without editing) support multicore cpu's. Essentially, multicore cpu's are two cpus in one. XP pro supports this.

    Anyway....

I still think of the Inq as the National Enquirer....of computers.

Edit: I'm not attacking your post, just posting my opinions, humble that they are. :)

Huh?Who the heck is this guy, thermal management issues? what a load of crap, what thermal management issues did 754 and 939 have, seems over the last couple of years Intel has taken over the thermal management problems and "tradition" in the chip industry dont last more then a couple of months.

If you wanna find out real tech news go over to toms hardware or annandtech

AMD kinda does have a heat issue... My AMD 2600+ OC'd to 2000MHz ( less than.1Ghz over stock) hits 70C and shuts off.... better put my WC back in.

AMD has nowhere near the heat issue Intel does.

I went to CompUSA today, got some TT RAM sinks and some arctic silver 5... They didnt have 120mm fan grills for my case mod though  So i got the other 2 things... Hopefully having that 12CM fan blowin 25C air onto the CPU will keep it cooler.

I took the stock fan that i THOUGH did nothing on my cpu, and my CPU hit 70C just gradually building up... Now its at 35 and hasnt increased really, and all im doing is surfin the net...

BTW Has anyone seen the ThermalTake Typhoon HSF???? That thing is MASSIVE!!!! It weighs a TON too! Its like 5x as big as my stock HSF.... I think you would need like a pillar to support it though.... My first time seeing good HSFs like from Zalman and Cooler master and TT, they are big! lol.

Also, whats the poing in getting BFG heatsinks that are 15 bucks that arent the size as my ram, when i got TT ramsinks which fit perfectly?
