    I am planning to get a new HP desktop. Wanted to know which video card you thought was better if any. Not doing any gaming, ay most watching HD movies from my video camera. Please limit responses to the 2 cards mentioned. Thank you.

    For what you want, there is probably not much in it. Both will be more than adequete.

    It is difficult to give an exact answer without knowing the actual card make and model. nVidia seem to be offering more bang for buck these days so I would prob go with that.
