I suddenly got THIS (screenshot) popping-up on my machine.

I have not ONCE (not ever) attempted to overclock this machine...the machine means too much to me, and I can *NOT* afford another one anytime soon!

I don't know what to do here with this - the options I seem to have are: "Accept", "Discard", or "Apply"??

It looks like a standard warning message if trying to access certain controls. Kind of like about:config in Firefox. If the center pops up like this for no reason, see if you can disable the Engine Control Center starting up automatically in "Preferences" or is there a setting to set everything back to default?

    Just a standard TOS.

Curious. I have an AMD chip on my machine and never installed the AMD Vision Engine Control Center onto my machine until I installed an AMD video card (which isn't all I had hoped it would be). If you want to you can uninstall the AMD Catalyst Install Manager from Programs and Features in the Control Panel. Your AMD devices should still work. Or if you click Discard no changes should be made. I don't get this on my machine at random which makes it curious.

I don't have mine either works fine.Check and all so see if you got any virus or malware on system.

Thank you all, very much..I will attempt to answer you all to the best of my ability...

I have had a friend/MG-member/I.T. person doing some troubleshooting (for a network/access problem) from a remote location..my suspicion, is that during the troubleshooting, something was "triggered" causing this AMD pop-up window.

To GoldenSkull I would say, there is no other indication of Virus/Malware.

cabbiinc & tgell, I hope to be able to look deeper into your suggestions/questions whenever ("IF" ever?!?) I get the time to do so...

And brownizs (and again tgell), I like this answer best; "standard" warning (or "TOS", whatever that is?).

I will report back to satisfy the thread as I (and when) I am able to - thanks again all . . . . .

brownizs is right, its a normal configuration page/warning for amd stuff. It is not malware of any sort.
