AMD64 Socket 939 Question

After reading this atricle from the frontpage of majorgeeks, www.vr-zone.com/?i=966 . Is AMD going to come out with a Socket 939 3400+, 3200+, 3000+, 2800+?

If so, what will the performance difference be between a 3200+ running in single-channel mode vs. a 3200+ running in dual-channel mode?

 

I'm not sure if they're coming out with slower chips on socket 939 since i think they want the 7** socket to be they're value socket, but I know dual channel only gives you a 3% performance gain or so with those chips.

 

The 939 pin version of equal model number to the 754pin versions are different, iirc 200mhz slower and with only 512K cache. If they have 1mb cache, then they get a rating 100 higher (ie, 3600 would become 3700 if the former were s754 and the later were s939).
or something like that, just look up each one you want and pick then...personally i prefer S939 w/512k cache

Basically, the rating system is kinda fubard at present....but so is the new intel system, it blows.

 

Yea, intels definitly worse, pentium 560, WTF is that?!?!
