hi all, does anyone know what amd751.sys belongs to, i think it belongs to an amd cpu but need confirmation.
i used to have an amd duron 850 cpu but changed my motherboard to an asrock which supports intel, so if the driver is not needed i can delete it,
    ta for any help

Yes it is an AMD CPU driver component.

Kinda supprised if you just changed your mobo and didnt re-install windows you have not encountered other issues, as you basically have added a whole new driver base to your PC.

I would be inclined to backup all your important data and doing a fresh install of your OS and installing the Intel Chipset Drivers then update all the others like GFX etc, less likely to have residual old AMD drivers left, that may or may not cause a problem.

hi, i was told that i would have to reformat when i changed all my hardware, but i didn't have to, everything seems to be ok, just the amd driver, maybe its a w2k thing, trying xcopy at the moment for back-ups and using nero to dvd disk,
would the driver be safe to delete ? ta

Yes as its not needed for an Intel system.
