ampex dvd player help

    I have a ampex dvd player and was wondering what format do i have to burn to my cdr for it to play on my player
    and what program I'd use

    If you want to put video on your CD and play it on a DVD player, burn it as a VCD (Video CD) or SVCD (Super video CD) - assuming your DVD player supports those formats .

    I have an Ampex DVD player too and I can play extensions mpg [not mpeg] and mp3 but not avi.
