An application to figure out my XP update?

    I know it seems like my questions are endless, but I am getting nowhere fast trying to download various things from Microsoft. Apparently I have a real mess and can't seem to get it figured out. Is there an app that will check the OS for whatever may be missing and help in getting stuff updated?

    Update: Belarc advisor shows I have Win XP Media Center Edition 2005 Pack 2 Build 2600. Is there a relatively inexpensive source if I wanted to purchase Win XP Pro with SP2?
