And the suckiness abounds...no more cd rom drive

    My computer froze so I restart it and now it says that my CD-Rom drive (M:/)doesn't exist or was removed. I have a Windows 98 (yeah, I know...I know that I need to update) and I really don't know what else to tell you. Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to MajorGeeks.

    Is the drive correctly displayed in Device Manager (Control Panel) and My Computer with no errors?

    Thanks for the welcome.

    Well, everything looks like it's ok now. I don't know what happened but when I started up my computer this morning the drives just magically reappeared. So thanks for the reply Insomniac.
