Andriod And Skype

I have a NuVison Android KitKat Tablet.

And I just got the Skype App I think it is verson 7.46 and it wont work.

I put in my Friends Skype Name and it says it can not find him.

And he told me he keeps sending me Friend Reqwests but I get nothing on my End.

So I went to this website

And I was talking to somebody that told me Skype doe not Support Android KitKat.
So I called NeuVison on the Phone and they told me it does.

Can you help me?

 

Skype does support Android KitKat.

 

You need to check that your Skype App is properly installed on that Tablet and that you have configured your Skype account in it. It should pick up ALL your current Skype contacts.
Skype works on ANY Android device without question.

 

I though Skype worked with KitKat.

After I install it on my Tablet can you tell me what to Look for in the Skype setting to Configure?
