andriod error force closes

Hi. I'm suddenly getting a fairly strange error....."The process com.android.phone has stopped...." whenever I'm making an outgoing call which leaves me no option but to hit the force close button. Tried cleaning davik cache, no luck. Samsung Galaxy rooted, this error just started about 2 weeks ago. If I push the speaker button I can complete the call but there is no log and speaker is not always convenient....anybody know anything about this?

On samsung devices

Over on the Sprint forums, they've posted a fix for this without needing a reset: Go into Menu -> Settings -> Call settings -> Reject with message. If you have more than 5 messages in there, delete some so you have less than 5.

People are reporting that once they do that, they are once again able to receive calls without the force close happening. Hope that helps!
