Android automatically answers unknown calls only???

a few days ago I started getting unknown calls. When they call my phone answers without a ring. It only does it with this unknown call and its dead silence on the other end. They never disconnect and my call log shows 0 seconds. After the latest my phone said its low (first in 2 years). I restored it to defaults and now it says my sdcard is damaged. I am not concerned with how to block these, but rather why it auto,answers when they call? And why would my sd card suddenly mess up? The carrier says auto answer is on.. N its not. also told me they cant trace it. Im concerned they may steal my info!

 

This just started happening to me a couple days ago. Clearly some sort of exploit on Android phones. Anyone have any ideas?

Who is your carrier, what phone are you using, and what Android version are you using?

Has anyone thought to run a logcat after one of these calls to see whats actually happening?

 

Two weeks later and no response, and both posters had a single post and it was here. This sounds like a troll thread.
