Well, i am wondering what programs are used to make video games.
Please dont refer to PRG MAKER 2000/2003.
I need 3D game design names.
    Thanks.

3D Game Studio. There are different versions of it which range from the standard version which is like $69 and the enterprise edition for making games like half life and doom 3 which is like $3000.

Well you can make a "mesh" with pretty much any 3D program, but a "level editor" or somthing like that is usualy specific to the game engine itself (so for Unreal Toruanment, you have UnrealEd, but for Half-Life you have Hammer).

3D studio MAX is a good one to learn if you want to get into game design, (well, 3d game design anyway) as its fairly standard.

The RAD creators like gamestudio are just that (rapid application development). They are "easy" and contain all the things you need to code a complete game.
