Is there a good writeup out there about hacking? The reason why I ask is because I am right now in the process of transferring files through my router from one computer to the other, and if I didn't know on the other computer I was doing this, I would NEVER know files were being extracted from this computer. Is there a way to monitor this? Also how can I tell if someone is/has been accessing my computer? Thanks in advance for any info.

With regards to your question regarding hacking. There are no write ups as you put it and certainly not in this forum. I can assure you by using a good firewall no personal data will leave your computer and vice versa. When posting in future please do not ask questions regarding hacking. There is a full list of security software in this section you may care to take a look at. in particular Kaspersky Anti-Hacker 1.5 is very good
