Annoying Disconnect

    When I switch users in xp it bumps me off line, is they something I can do in the reg. or any place esle for that matter.

    just to get on the same page as you.... when you logoff of one user account are you clicking logoff or switch user?

    if logoff ... all running processes and programs will terminate... but if you click switch user then that user account should stay connected with its running programs.... if its not then what type of internet connection do you have Dialup, DSL, Cable etc etc

    Yes its dial up. And the programs do stay going for other user.
