Annoying Icons

    Ok, when I log into Windows xp, I see all my desktop icons (while he is still loading everything). He keeps loading...
    next thing that happens... he loads some extra icons "travel" "poker" "casino online". Problem is, you can't rename, delete, remove these icons. And I don't really think they even are icons, just some kind of program loads that sh*t in.
    I did one scan with adaware, but they are still there...
    can anyone give advice?

    Make sure your AdAware is up to date-- it should get rid of them. Or you can just try booting into Safe Mode and logging in as Administrator and deleting them.

    And if what TheDoug said to try still does not help, look in Add/Remove programs for uninstalls to any of those items (like Casino Online, Poker - just look and see what you find).
