Annoying IE 6.0 problem

I keep getting an error message when I close IE that says "IE has encountered a problem and needs to close" It happens every time I close it. I've had this happen on my previous system too, so I'm guessing it has something to do with NetZero, but it still doesn't make much sense to me. I have firefox anyway, but sometimes I need IE to update windows or download Microsoft programs. NetZero automatically launches IE when I connect. Is there a way to set it to launch Firefox instead?

 

I used to run Netzero and it was the bigggest pile of tempremental crapI have ever used. Tech support was no help either. There is little flexibility in what you can do to resolve this. Your best bet is to install the IE Tab in Firefox and use that when you need to access websites using IE. You can find it here

Netzero was fine up until V7.0. After that it went downhill as they have you running all sorts of uneccessary stuff in the background now that you have no control over. Slows everything down a ton.

Well, I'm afraid my internet options are limited to dialup right now. Do you know of any good dialup providers (I don't want to pay $20 a month for dialup)?

We used bluefrog.com before we got DSL. We found it easy to work with and the maximum charge was $15/month with the accelerator. That was a year ago tho so I don't know how much they charge now.
