annoying little "toggle" thing

I run vista home premium and whenever i press caps lock, num luck, or scroll lock, this little annoying screen pops up telling me that a pressed the key. it sucks because it lags out my games and minimizes them. anyone have any idea what that is and how i can kill it?

 

I think the first thing to check is if your keyboard has any software installed that may include notification settings. Is it wireless or have any extra buttons that require software to be loaded?

 

dont think its the keyboard or anything. first keyboard i had on here was just a standard one that came with the comp, now i have a razor. no additional software besides the driver. not sure if its something that gateway loaded up or if its vista.

 

ah yep. i missed it the first time, but it was a keyboard driver from gateway. go figure.
