Annoying Spyware

    Hello! Recently I found out my computer had some spyware. I wasn't that worried so I scanned it with spysweeper, but it didn't work to remove all of it. I opened up internet explorer and a different search page appeared, it was "Home Search" with a bad quality windows logo. I tried Spybot, but it STILL didn't work. So, here I am with a Hijack this! log. Can ya help me? Thanks!

    You need to follow guidelines! HijackThis is the last step and we have rules about how and when to post a log. Also, your HijackThis is out of date. Please do the below first.

    If you already have any of the programs linked in the tutorial please double check your version to make sure you have the latest one and that you have any/all updates for the programs.

    NOTE: In order to resolve the issues you are having it is very important that you at least try to perform all the steps as outlined. If you have any difficulty please post back letting us know what steps you have completed, what you found while doing the scans if anything and details about any problems you have encountered in completing the steps. The more details you can provide the better.


    You have HSA hijack and should make sure you pay attention to the steps mentioning this and HSremove and about:Buster. You will most likely have to resort to using:

    When all else fails - try Generic Solution to HSA (Only the Best) hijack
