Annoying Xp Bug's

Some time's you just got to hate Xp be cause of it's annoying bug's it still has that Microsoft has not fixed yet.

I do not understand what cause's the issue i just got about an hour ago.

The infamous Windows Xp Activation loop Bug.

Still has not been fixed and i do not think it will ever be fixed.

They no it is there but still is not been fixed i have goten this a few time's.

There are way's of fixing this bug.

 

Running xp on couple here too, had the loop once on one, rebooted and never had it again. I can't find anyone with this problem either.Just a shot in the dark, but are you using any system utilities that could possibly be altering your file system ??

 

I had this once, right after some updates were applied. A repair install solved it...

 

Like i said not really sure what causes the issue.May be the registry get's lost when you try to clean the Registry.

 

The consensus is no one knows what causes it in all the forums I viewed. Microsoft never addressed it in a meaningful way, and no fix/patch was ever issued that I have seen...

There are some who propose reg hacks, others say delete a particular system file and restore from CD, but the reasonable solution, IMO, is to either do a repair install or fresh install.

 

Why would ms invest time in fixing a bug for an old os that will be dropped from support soon? Apperently it didn't happen enough for ms to think it was an issue. I personaly have never had an issue activating a legit copy of xp.

 

My Copy is legit and it does happen on legit copy's it is a bug on 32 bit xp and 64 bit.

But it is kinda easy to fix any way.But when it happens it just get's frustrating is all be cause some time's when it does happen it can F up every thing.

 

They ignored the issue from day one, of course they'll do nothing now. I'm not privy to what MS's threshold is for fixing serious bugs, but if the number of web posts by people experiencing this is any indication it must be very high...

BTW, it doesn't always happen on activation, it pops up randomly...
