another BF vietnam problem

my intro sceens before entering the actual game are extremly choppy and it takes 15 minutes or more just to get to the main menu because you can't skip the intro sceens. its the same for bf 1942. i have also tryed reinstalling the game several times and i just updated my drivers tonight and nothing has worked, if anyone else had this problem plz help.

my system is a;
AMD 64 2800mhz
1Gig ram
nvidia 5500 256 video
160gig of hard drive

 

Do any other games go that slow??? Does it lag in game?? Have you tried scanning for malware/viruses lately. If not you should because that it potentially the most likely problem.

BF vietnam is the only game that is choppy during the intro, all my other games run just fine doom3, halflife 2 etc.... and i don't have any ingame lag problems. i'm not sure what you mean by scanning for malware viruses my virus scanner just scans everything i can't specifically designate scan for malware viruses as far as i know

thx anyway dude i just figured it out i simply deleted all my movies from the file so when i launch the game it goes directly to main menu
