Need some help here please. I have a hijacker that is reseting my home page to the following: mk:mad:MSITStore:C:\spe\start.chm::/start.html#

If you can luck up and log on to the internet, it will send you to a search engine titled "heretofind.com".

I have followed all of the removal tips in the FAQ post. The files are obvious in the Hijack This log, but I can't remove them. I click fix, but they reappear immediately with a second scan.

I have system restore turned off.
I have installed Windows XP updates as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have followed all the steps in this Sticky thread < READ ME FIRST: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal >

Then you should read the tutorial in this Sticky thread < Hijack This Tutorial And How To Post Your Log File >

And then post your HijackThis log as a .txt file attachment. All running programs should be closed, including your web browser, e-mail, items in the tray, anything you can close... Close before running Hijack This!

Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder or choose run from the download. Place it in its own folder, for example C:\Program Files\HJT
