Another HJT post by a new user.

I did, however, do every step in the "read this first" sticky at the top of the forum.

My major symptoms aren't that mind boggling, just a noticeable decrease in system performance as well as those annoying pop ups every 3-8 minutes.

One such pop up directed me here:

I just need to stop this.

Oops, I forgot one thing:

When I ran each of the programs in safe mode, they found multiple objects. There were a total of 75 harmful items that were removed. Cc cleaner also removed some things, Microsoft Anti Spyware didn't detect anything, same with spybot.

 

AHHH! So, I got up this morning...it's worse...I don't know how, but it is.

Any help?

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

Well, sorry. I couldn't perform the online scans with Opera. I did the alternate version that is "house call" or whatever, it didn't find anything. I've fixed it with a rollback/delete. Thanks.

 

So your pop up redirections have been resolved?
