another newbie

    what is the difference between a "HOT" download and a "PICK" download. Which should I download between the 2 choices?

    Hi and Welcome

    Hot = What the majority are downloading, aka the popular applications.
    Pick = What the admins of the site really like, they are generally correct.

    Either options would be ok, however what software is it your after?

    Must have free downloads is a list of various catagories that have some of the best freebies for all.

    Thanks - I did download the must have freebies. I was looking on the left side at other downloads and wasn't sure whether or not "hot picks" were just the most frequently downloaded or if they were the site's "hot picks" (ie., recommendations from site administrators....people who actually knew what they were doing!)
