another problem rebooting

    i try to reboot my Dell Laptop
    and i get the error mesage

    "Primary hard disk 0 not found
    No bootable devices--strike F1 to retry reboot, F2 for setup utility"

    I am sorry to hear that Buffalo.

    Your BIOS can't find an operating system, this is why you are getting this message. Probably the BIOS isn't recognizing your hard drive that the OS is on. Click F2 like it says and see if it "sees" any of your hard drives. Your hard drive might have failed.

    dont feel sorry me hyper
    i just got off the phone with dell and realized to my dismay that the screw on my harddrive is missing :rolleyes:
    and my harddrive was left ajar causing the problem
    sorry to waste your time
    the new screws are in the mail :mad:

    Ouch!! That bites!
    I still feel sorry for you, I had an episode with my laptop not having the right amount of screws, I didn't think the same thing could be happening to you.
