Another question.

I had trouble with the colors on a Gateway comp.
Halo got it fixed for me. ( thanx Halo. )
Now I am defragging and it has been over 5 hours on a 10 gig hd.
Whats the deal ??
It is not starting or stopping just slowwwwwww.
Am I missing something here ??

my (possibly un-educated) advice would be just to let it run, I seem to remember a friend of mine taking in excess of three hours (she hadn't defragged since she got the comp)...

maybe just leave it over night to see if it finishes... or wait for better advice...

It took 6 1/2 hours but it is done.

He is running win 98 se2.
Will this still work ??

 

If it'll do FAT32 it should run on 98.

 

DiskKeeper Lite is basically the Windows 2k/XP degrag module with some prettyisations. They share the same code. This is the first couple of lines of output of the defragger engine :

Not to say that its not any good! If it works on 98 (which it should, it does FAT 32 drives) it should be great!
