On my Win2k system, my dial-up was working fine the other day. I tried to connect today, and an error came up telling me to enable the Remote Access Connection Manager. I go into services and attempt to start it, and I get: "Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start." Same with Remote Access Auto Connection Manager. Plug and Play, Remote Procedure Call, and Telephony are all Started and set to Automatic. Remote Access Connection Manager and Remote Access Auto Connection Manager are on automatic also.

    I also tried:

    Start
    Run
    Regedit
    Hkey_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Set\Services\Rasman\PPP\EAP
    Delete folders 25 and 26

But those folders were not there.

    Windows 2000
    Service Pack 1
    Wal-Mart Connect Dial-Up

    Any suggestions?

Also tried Safe Mode, didn't work.
