Another slow start up thread

Hi all , Just recenty i have had a problem when windows loads. Everything goes ok till my anti virus starts to load . From the time that my icons appear on the screen till the antivirus icn loads in my tray is about 45 seconds , then a couple of seconds later the Registry mechanic icon appears. This has happened over the last week .
I haven't downloaded any files or installed any programs recently.
I'm running XP pro service pack 3 and using Norton 360 premier .
Also installed are Malwarebites, Spybot search and destroy and Super antispyware .

What type of machine are we discussing?
What all is starting at bootup?
When was your last defrag?

Hi

If you disable Norton 360 does your PC boot ok?

Are the other security applications like Malwarebytes and Superantispyware the paid retail version or the free ones?
If the retail ones they are resident live scanning so disable them and test if PC boots ok.

Are you running Spybots TeaTimer?
Disable or uninstall Spybot to test.

Please also list your startups as in what boots with your PC, to do this an easy way is to install Ccleaner and click Tools > Startups and either screenshot the list and attach an image or type it out.
