Suddenly (it seems) I am not able to access links from my Thunderbird inbox (these are links from friends ... people I trust). :(

    Any ideas, please? :confused

    Thanks in advance.. :major

    Greetings, grc123...

    First things I'd try:

    1. Check Thunderbird's preferences for enabling hyperlinks within emails.

    2. Check any antispyware and/or antivirus programs you might have onboard, see if there are any shields that may be preventing email hyperlink usage.

In Firefox try setting Thunderbird as the default mail to client.

    Options>Applications>mailto

Nothing yet, still looking for (trying to find) the on/off switch for enabling hyperlinks :confused

Using Microsoft Security Essentials for AS/AV protection..don't see any switches (or buttons) that could be changed there either :confused

    I'm good there (Thunderbird is set as default "mail to") - thanks...the hunt continues . . . . .

Perfect! Somehow Firefox had been un-selected as my default browser..and selecting it again seems to have done the trick!

Thank you ! (and I apologize for too often forgetting about MozillaZine K-B!).. :major:wave:major
