Another Week Begins

Good Morning!

Been deep in thought this morning and just fiddling so thought I'd share my fiddling. lol

Hope everyone has a wonderful day..make that a wonderful week! I'll be quite busy today...if all goes as planned I'll be flying to NY on Wednesday so I need to get my packing done along with a little sewing I want to finish up. Will be gone for 10 days or so...all depends on how my mom is doing and everyone is settling in with the care she will need. Looking forward to seeing my family and spending some time with my grandchildren...I swear someone feeds them miracle grow in-between my visits back home..LOL

I'll of course still be popping in while I'm gone, checking email, changing titles and all that so y'all behave yourselves and don't do anything I wouldn't do LOL Take care of star for me ok?

So now....the BIG questions...what are your plans for the week?

 

Hehe you seem busy, I should be revising for my last 3 exams, got maths and science wednesday and thursday and history next week, but I just been sitting here playing games - sad I know. Hope all goes well in NY, I've always wanted to go there!

Been busier than a bee in a flower shop here. I just wish I could step outside without being shin-deep in water! <*grumble!, grumble!*>.

My plans - basically to catch up with some programming deadlines for some Govt. contracts. And trying to stay warm!

tsk..tsk! LOL j/k Sometimes a break from studying (such as playing games) is a good thing...gives you a bit of a break so when you do get back on task you're able to do so with a fresh perspective. Will keep my fingers crossed that you do well on the exams.

Thanks for the well wishes...it's going to be a big adjustment for all...I just hope that me being there to help out at least for a little while will help everyone settle into a routine and that my mom will feel more at ease being home.

Yeah, the wettest June in history in these parts. As Long as I don't get Pneumonia again this year I'll be okay.

Hopefully, I'll make it over to your neck of the woods next year. Was supposed to be this August, but the ol' Murphy's law applied again. (Some hospital appts to take care of)

I'm looking forward to the next launch, so I'll be watching for that.

As for my week, eat, sleep, work, mow the lawn, baseball, music practice, training class, school will be over for the year for my son, usual stuff

 

I actually kinda HAVE plans for the week, which is rare for me lately.

Today is the election in my union local to see who of the five people who ran are going to be the delegate to our international convention this summer (it's a HUGE deal, kinda like being elected to go to your political party's national convention on a Presidential election year)...and I'm one of the nominees. Then tonight we have a ratification meeting on two contracts which have both been expired more than a year. Also today, my best friend flies home to Tahoe after being here ten days with her 3-month-old baby girl.

Tuesday, I'm planning to head to the local race track to get Rusty Wallace's autograph for a friend (I know...but it really is for a friend ).

Wednesday I have a meeting. Thursday I have a meeting. Friday my niece has her biopsy. The rest of the weekend I wait on pins and needles to find out what it said.

BTW, have I ever told anyone how much I despise CAT6 cable, no....well I do and by the end of this week I will hate it.

 

Good afternoon Abby! Had a great weekend I spent with my cousin and his b-day bbq was yesterday. I think I got some tan being outside since I have that warm feeling on my back and some other spots. Today its back to work

 

Abby, have a good trip. Will likely be a lot of work, and getting your mom settled and things running smoothly won't be the joy that a simple care-free visit would be, but it should be rewarding, and being able to visit with everybody is always good.

Star unleashed for 10 days? I don't know if we can keep him down all by ourselves, but we'll try.

As for what I have planned for the week. Ummmmm.............work, work and more work. Not all paid either.........(Cleaning house, weeding flowers, cooking, laundry, the list goes on and on)
