My computer is giving me a bsod I can't bring it up in any of the safe mode options and it definantley won't boot on it's own. I can axcess bios but I really am not advanced enough to play around in there. The stop codes are: 0x0000008E(0xc00000050,0xbF803EB6,0xFBD1E7C4,0x00000000)
    Win32k.System address BF803EB6 Baseat BF800000, Datestamp47e0e106

I do not have the system disks to it any more or I would have tried to reformatt by now. I don't want to scrap it if it can be saved. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have a dell dimension 2100 with windows xp home:banghead

tanks for your advice but the bsod has turned my machine into a large paper weight.I 've thought about attempting to reconfigure from the hard drive partition but the hard drive was changed a couple years back, plus I d'ont know if my year model supports partition reconfigure. I would like to get the thing back up and running and give it to my mother and step father they have an old compaq running windows 95 I would like to bring them into the 21st century (I mean they d'ont have a calculator they have an abacus with beads and have to turn a crank to get connected to the internet) any advice is greatly appreciated Thanx in advance:banghead
