Hi m8,I'm not sure what exactly your removing when you say pentium, are you removing the pentium cpu and heatsink?did you disconnect the power before removing the pentium, removing the cpu and trying to boot the computer can have the effect of resetting the bios to default values,as can turning the computer on and of 3 or 4 times,I believe this is whats happening.

your original problem could be due to overheating and the puter shutting itself down for safety, have you removed your pentium in the past before the problem started

ye its the pentium cpu and heatsink that i was removeing.

lastnight it started by the system freezingi had to hit the restart button and instead of switching on it just beeped .

cant remember hot it started the first time 2 long ago now.

it seems to happen when the pentium is removed or knocked happend 1 time when i was removeing the side and the fan tunnel cliped it.

Hey, just a small word of advice, be careful if your running the cpu without a heat sink and turning it on and off lots. You might fry the cpu by accident, i've done it before :(

I'll assume that you have made sure that the heatsink is properly mounted on the CPU.

But have you checked to make sure that the fan on the CPU's heatsink is still working properly?
