antec sonata case fan

    how do you remove a antec sonata case fan?
    it comes with some kind of rubber screws or some thing
    i have to repace it to a more quite fan

    Just guessing here, but if they aren't actual screws, they probably just pull out.

    nope they are like rubber inserts to prevent movement
    i think i have to cut them

    is the rubber purple by chance? I have an antec case that has these rubbing clips the fans are attached to. And if that is the case all you have to do is unattach the fan.

    nope they are clear...
    but i have the answer these are one time screws you insert them from the inside and pulls them from the outside cutting the rough itself
    so when you want to put an other one you have one chance because they give you only 4 extra!!!
    sux... i highhly don't recommand this case useless for pro's
