One of my computers is running a virus program called "E Trust" made by "Computer Associates". I've never heard of it but it came with my business machine so i haven't changed it. It's been running problem free for 3 years now and it has an updated virus definition file. My question to you guys, have you ever experienced it or heard anything good or bad about this program.

Found out that it is put out by CA Security, which is a pretty big name in the pay-for division. Supposed to be good.

I've not tried CA Security (or any of their other products) myself, but if you are looking for a "new" AV program to use, try checking out av-comparative.org < http://www.av-comparatives.org/ > for their assessments (see the "comparatives" link).

Based upon the image you attached, it appears that your version (7.1) is an older version. Here's a review of version 7.1 that I came across:

If you are seeking a "new" AV program, the "usual suspects" are available through MG for free (and are well-regarded by MG users):
    Avira AntiVir
    AVG
    Avast.

FWIW, I have used McAfee Total Protection (anti-virus and anti-spyware portions only), ESET Anti-Virus, Avira AntiVir Premium, AVG (paid version), and Avast on different machines at different points in time. Like any piece of software, each has their benefits/drawbacks (IMO).

    Good Luck.
