I have a new build and I have had major problems with BSOD as well as corrupt sectors. Was finally able too Use Wipe Drive by white canyon to finally complete a full format. Everything seems to be running ok for now. My question is should I stick with Norton 360 that my service provider gives me for free or take another route. I also have Advanced Sysytem care IObit ...and a copy of tune-up 11.. What is peoples opinion on what programs I should set up...Should I stick with Norton or go with Avast and other spyware software.
Im running win 7 and like everyone else I Iget to a certain point in the updates and I get errors one three different updates. Any advice would be great...Thx

Re: Malwarebytes for Windows 7 64 bit

I ran mbam on it and found three threats one being a program I dl on Geeks.
I got pup.bundle. infracorder exe...Now I am running into the usual Update problem. I also did a chkdsk/r and found some corrupy files. What is a good program to wipe entire drive...reformat and partition.
Any ideas???? btw thx for all the responses...I might as well stick with avast for Virus check since Norton didnt catch the threats. Plus I put spyware blaster on as well.
I have tried and tried to install updates for two days now...Is there a program that will clean my drive with out uninstalling/reformat???

FYI, changing the title of your thread will not work and just causes confusion.

Anything you download at Major Geeks will be clean.
AFAIK, there has not been a valid instance of someone downloading malware from MG.
    MG: About Us
You can create a boot CD with Partition Wizard Home Edition 7.0
When you boot from the CD, you can partition a disk, format a partition and do other operations.
MiniTool Partition Wizard Bootable CD 7.0

I like Avast and it has been effective for me with Windows XP.
Malwarebytes Antimalware is very good and also SUPERAntiSpyware.
SpywareBlaster is also good for passive protection.

You should review the Major Geeks guide: How to Protect yourself from malware!.
Also, take a look at the MG list of Top Freeware Picks.
