Antivir question (noob)

    Yeah I downloaded Antivir from here, thank you fellas, but on running it, the log had a whole slew of "detected problems" in files that could not be accessed. Aside from the confusion of *how it knew there were problems in files it could not access*, I need to try to find out if these "problems" need to be dealt with, and how. I'm willing to do some homework, if you could point me to where to search. TIA -- Eric

    XPsp2, Dell, don't know the cpu, 4g HD, 500MHz, 128 Mram.

    the antivir log will spit out that message when it tries to access a locked file. Unless you see messages that are specifically "YOU HAVE A VIRUS" type of message, then you should be fine.
