   hi a friend and I just downloaded and installed the free antivir software. great program. but now we can't get passed the log on screen. it just keeps immediately logging him off again. safe mode doesn't even work. can someone plz help.

   Make sure you do Safe Mode, without the Networking.
   
   Also, are you logging in as Administrator or as a user?
