Well I had to zip a virus. I was asked to zip a virus for like research on the forums of my antivirus (NOD32). Well I tried zipping the file and then my antivirus stopped it. So I disable my antivirus and try again but AGAIN it stops me. So I look at the processes and the kernel was still running so I end the process tree and I try once again but I think you know the results or I wouldn't be posting here...

How do I completely turn off an antivirus WITHOUT uninstalling it..?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

So what happened? Did you get it done?

Hope you didn't forget to dump the original file, dump the zipped file, do an on-demand scan of your HD, and then reset your real-time protection to run when Windows boots (before you reboot and run another system scan to make sure you didn't miss any copies of the bug).

    Good luck.
