Antivirus program

    Hi Guys! im kinda new and have a quick question. my Norton is gonna run out, and i have been having problems with norton. Any recommendations on a good antivirus program for windows XP?

    Welcome to MG ST47!! Personally, I use Avast AV, it's free and thus far has done a real good job. The virus updates are quite frequent also. There's a new version out and you can find it right here on the front page!! It's Avast Home Edition. You have to register it once installed, but that's a painless procedure!! There are other ones also, but this is the only one I have ever used and, like I said, have had NO problems from it:)

    i strongly second avast. It wipes up the junk norton lets spill through ;)
