I've heard good things on both. But which one of these is least likely to slow down a computer, especially an older computer. Panda 2015(Free) or BitDefender Free ?

Giving Panda 2015 a try. Seems pretty good so far.

I've been using Panda for a while now, and can't report any problems with it. It is very light on resources, indeed. Also, I saw a recent thread here where the Major said he was using Panda and was very satisfied with its performance so far. I consider that good information the program is a solid option.

I've never used BitDefender. I went from Norton Antivirus to Avast in 2004 or 2005 and never looked back. Had been using Panda on a laptop and an older desktop to see if the resource impact was small, and it certainly seems to be.

Hey Spad, I'm using Panda now on my laptop, and I'm going to test BitDefender on my desktop. Thanks for the input. :wine
